Estimation Launches Logistics Version 6
Estimation, Inc., the leading provider of computerized solutions for specialty contractors, is proud to announce the release of Logistics Version 6.


/Electrical News Articles/ - LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, MD, October 13, 2006 - The latest installment of trade-specific software for estimating, purchasing, project management, and time & material billing. Logistics Version 6 boasts several new features and improvements to facilitate the entire business process from bidding to billing. This release contains software additions and improvements that will allow the contractor to customize the software for their specific needs and make it easier for them to navigate throughout the software and view their data.

To enhance the user friendliness and customizability of the software, contractors can now recover or purge a deleted job that may have been deleted by mistake. Contractors can also now set up color schemes to identify several types of summary prices, such as: databook, job pricing-file, edited, and reference only.

Added security and enhanced customizability are among the changes included in Version 6. Our new security feature in Data Set Maintenance encrypts archived datasets so that they can only be loaded by the contractor's company. Furthermore Logistics Version 6 has a completely new user-definable menu that has been added to ensure faster navigation throughout the system.
