Offshore Group Client Company Completes Expansion
The Intec Group expands its Mexican manufacturing capacity.


/Electrical News Articles/ - TUCSON, AZ, January 16, 2008 - The Palatine, IL - based Intec Group has completed a 14,000 square foot, 100 employee expansion at The Offshore Group's Roca Fuerte industrial park in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico.

According to company CEO, Scott Perlman, "Our ability to rapidly expand at the Roca Fuerte industrial park was, in great part, due to the efforts of the Offshore Group's ILS Company. ILS provided us with an on-site project coordinator to manage the logistics of shipping a large volume of equipment from the U.S. to our Mexican facility. Their assistance enabled us to service our Mexican customers without interruption".

Intec is a leader in the design and manufacture of precision insert and injection molded thermoplastic parts for the automotive industry. Its Guaymas, Mexico plant produces components for doors, fuel pump systems, window lifts, wiper motors, and sensors.

The Offshore Group is the largest provider of outsourced manufacturing support, or "Shelter" services in Mexico. Sixty-two manufacturers in the aerospace, automotive, electronics, HVAC, medical device and general manufacturing industries operate in its three industrial parks.
