Mr. Morgan brings 23 years of professional experience to General Cable, a manufacturing company that produces copper and aluminum cables. His previous experience as materials manager has prepared him for his current position, where he is responsible for managing supply chains, improving manufacturing plants, troubleshooting, and overseeing materials and business operations. In the course of his career, he has helped turn around numerous flagging organizations and make them successful, and considers this to be the most gratifying aspect of his work. He attributes his success to his hard work and personal drive, and aspires to rise to the position of vice president in the future.
Mr. Morgan earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky in 2005 and his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Idaho in 1995. He is also a certified project manager, a certified supply chain professional and a certified production and inventory manager. He is affiliated with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the American Marketing Association and the American Production and Inventory Control Society, and has been honored with the CEO's Award by General Cable Coporation and with a number of recognitions by the United States Army.
