Robert Escobar Jr. Honored for Excellence in Electrical Engineering
Mr. Escobar installs machines that build solar panels
OXNARD, CA, August 29, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robert Escobar Jr., Senior Electrical Engineer for PVI System Technology, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in electrical engineering.
Mr. Escobar, who has spent nearly two decades in the area of electrical engineering, was inspired in the mid-1990s to pursue a career path in automation and contribute to its progression as the industry continued to evolve. Utilizing his expertise in PLC, or programmable logic controllers, which are devices that control the operation of machinery, Mr. Escobar currently installs machines that are used in making solar panels and works with vacuum furnaces for CIGS Thin Film Solar Technology.
Attributing his success to sheer hard work, Mr. Escobar is grateful to have become involved in his profession after he noticed that in the mid-1990s, automation was developing rapidly in the engineering industry. With an engineering background from the U.S. Navy, he made a career transition from technician to supervisor. He received an Associate of Arts in electronic engineering and a Bachelor of Science from the ITT Technical Institute, and accreditation as a Certified Electronic Technician. He is a former member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Going forward, Mr. Escobar intends to remain abreast of industry trends and developments, expand his company, and supply furnaces throughout the United States and Taiwan.
