Eric Petty Honored for Excellence in Sales and Operations Management

ROLLING MEADOWS, IL, September 12, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Eric B. Petty, Vice President of Sales and Operations for QCircuits, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in sales and operations management.
With the proven ability to turn withering companies into prosperous businesses, Mr. Petty entered his current position with QCircuits, an electronics manufacturing company, six years ago. His 30 years of experience include executive sales and operations positions with Beltronics Corporation, The Shelbyville Connection, Inc., North American Lighting, and Boeing. Each role enabled Mr. Petty to acquire skills that are now pertinent to the responsibilities tasked to him as the vice president of sales and operations. In addition to overseeing manufacturing operations, company sales, and the customer service sector, Mr. Petty possesses full profit-and-loss authority for budgeting and manages quality systems, sales target development and deployment, and project planning. A leader known for his hands-on work approach, Mr. Petty exemplifies hard work and professional discipline.
Mr. Petty earned a Master of Science in aeronautics and operations as well as a Bachelor of Science in aeronautics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University after obtaining an Associate of Arts in aviation technology from Pierce College. He is a certified airframe and power plant mechanic, certified single-engine fixed wing land pilot, and certified commercial instrument rotary wing pilot. In addition, he earned a diploma in initial entry rotary wing aviation. Mr. Petty spent the first part of his career in the U.S. Army, reaching the rank of sergeant E-5 as an enlisted soldier. He went on to complete warrant officer flight school and attain the rank of chief warrant officer, in which capacity he served as a pilot in command of attack helicopter operations and intelligence. Mr. Petty fulfilled overseas tours of duty in Egypt and Korea, earning an Achievement Medal, three Commendation Medals, and a Multinational Force and Observer Medal.
When asked of his motivation for success, Mr. Petty readily admits, "I enjoy bringing stability to chaotic situations." Looking ahead, he intends to continue helping businesses achieve success along with him.
